Travel & Accommodations
How do I get there?
Fly into Denver International Airport (DEN). Renting from a local Budget Car Rental is often cheaper than renting from airport. If you coordinate airport pickup with V&S, this Budget Car Rental is closest to our house in Northglenn, CO. Several other car rental companies are nearby.
You’ll also need to get yourself to Silverthorne (~1.5 hour drive from airport). Many guests will be driving, so plan your ride there and back. Carpooling is encouraged if convenient.
Guests are responsible for arranging their own flights, airport pickup, and transportation unless otherwise directly communicated. Please text Vanessa or Shayne directly if you would like to coordinate airport pickup. Pickup accommodations are not guaranteed.
What’s the meal plan?
A full meal schedule will be provided. Other than lunch, the bride and groom will be covering the cost of food & drinks for on-site guests over the weekend.
-
Day of the wedding: All meals and snacks will be provided
-
Breakfast (entire weekend): Make-it-yourself with provided ingredients (waffles, crepes, eggs, bacon, etc.)
-
Dinner: Family-style each night. Please be prepared to help in some way (food prep, cleaning, etc.)
- Lunch (entire weekend, other than wedding day): Either volunteer-cooked or fend for yourself / leftovers
We recommend bringing your own additional snacks and any special drinks for yourself for the weekend.
What's the parking situation?
Parking at the house is extremely limited and will be reserved for specific guests. Additional parking is located at the neighborhood community center nearby. Shuttling guests to and from the house / community center will be coordinated. Check back for more details.
Where will I sleep?
House beds sleep 15 people total (two master bedrooms, x4 queen beds, one king bed in the casita, one full bed). There are many comfortable couches on-site as well as plenty of space for air mattresses. Room allocations will be communicated closer to the wedding once all RSVPs are finalized.
You are welcome to book your own hotel or Airbnb if you do not want to stay on-location. Please note this in your RSVP.
Attire
What should I wear to the wedding? *Color Scheme Noted*
Because we have limited guests at our wedding (~25), we would really appreciate if you follow our color scheme for cohesive photos: black/white, gray, light or medium blue (no navy). Please text Vanessa or Shayne directly with specific attire questions.
- Women: Blue dress
- Men: Light gray suit, black shoes, black belt, black tie, and white pocket square

What should I wear to the rehearsal dinner?
For the rehearsal dinner, please wear cocktail attire or business casual. You don’t need to match the wedding day colors. Just look polished and comfortable for dinner and photos with friends and family.
What should I wear for the rest of the weekend?
Late Night Wedding Day & Next Day After Party:
Please bring a onesie or onesie-like (comfortable) attire for the late-night dancing / party vibes, plus any festival-inspired clothing you want to wear.
Rest of Weekend:
Super casual attire is perfectly fine.
Mountain Top Photo:
We’ll be taking a trip to Winter Park Mountain Sunday morning, which is a great photo opportunity and amazing chance to see gorgeous mountain views. If you'd like to join (optional), wear whatever you’d like to be photographed in. Comfortable, cute, weather-appropriate clothing is recommended. There is a small fee to ride the gondola to the top of Winter Park Mountain.
Potential activities on Sunday & Monday may include hiking, swimming, hot tubbing, and paddle boarding. Please pack accordingly.
